BWD convenes all AWS local chapter as highlight of its 28th anniversary

Determined to be in the forefront on the fight towards water resources protection and preservation, Baliwag Water District (BWD) convened all the 23 local chapter of its Aqua Warriors Society (AWS), June 30, 2017 at the BWD Multi-Purpose Hall, BWD Extension Bldg., Col. Tomacruz St., Poblacion, Baliwag, Bulacan.


Twenty three female AWS coordinators and 23 AWS Presidents composed of six male pupils and 17 female pupils from all of the 23 public elementary schools in Baliwag participated the event wherein the mechanics and criteria for judging for the BWD’s Search for Most Outstanding Local AWS chapter were discussed.


BWD initiated projects on water and environment protection, and on personal and community hygiene to be participated by all the 23 local AWS chapters such as rain water harvesting, pot painting and bamboo planting were tackled along with other activities that they may initiate in their respective institutions as part of their support and participation to various water, sanitation and hygiene, and environment celebrations.


The event culminated with the recital of pledge of commitment by all the participants.
